Rates – At RiverDance we offer two separate suites, RiverHaven, and SkyView. Each one is self-contained with a bedroom, a gathering area, a bath complex, a kitchen, and a private deck. Both are perfect for some time away for you and your significant other, bringing a couple of youngsters or a man’s best friend. The standard rate for SkyView is $160/night with a one-time cleaning fee of $85 and state tax while the standard rate for RiverHaven is $115/night with a one-time cleaning fee of $85 and state tax. Family and Pet Friendly – We created RiverDance with families in mind and we absolutely love it when they come to visit. Many families have come to stay with us and you can take a look at the reviews and see how much they enjoyed it. But your family’s safety is at the top of our list. We sit 300 feet above the loop of the Big Laurel, so we would ask you to have your children supervised by an adult at all times. Your canine friends will also be welcome but need to be on a leash while in the community. Also, if you are going to leave them behind while you are out and about, they must be in a secure crate.

Check-In and Check-Out Times – Check-out time is 10 AM and check-in time is between 4 PM and 9 PM. If you need to arrive outside of those times, please call Callie at (847) 809-3098.
Pets – If you bring one or more of man’s best friends with you, there will be an additional one-time charge of $50. If extra expenses are required beyond the normal dog fee, then your credit card will be charged appropriately.
Time to turn down the volume: With respect to other guests we ask that you be mindful of noise that is created after 10:00 PM.
Cancellation Policy – RiverDance is an inviting vacation rental where every guest reservation is important and special to us. We are a small operation, so cancellations affect us dramatically. When we guarantee accommodation, we enter into a contract with you and lose the opportunity to reserve those nights for others who wish to stay with us. At the time your reservation is made, by phone or online, 50% of the rental fee or one night’s lodging (whichever is more) will be required to secure the reservation.
If you should cancel more than one month before the date of your arrival, we will refund your deposit less a $100 cancellation fee per suite that is reserved. If you should cancel less than one month but more than two weeks before the date of your arrival, you will lose your deposit. If you should cancel two weeks or less before your arrival date you will be responsible for the rest of the rental amount on your credit card. At that two-week mark, the second half of the rental fee will be charged. This will also apply if you should depart early or arrive late.
As we have no control over the weather, extended family situations, guest illnesses, airline delays or flight cancellations, etc., our cancellation policies apply equally under those circumstances. For this reason, we recommend purchasing trip insurance for your peace of mind. Travel insurance for a minimal fee is available at iTravelInsured.com or http://allianztravelinsurance.com.. Cancellations must be made by sending an email. Once we receive that email we will cancel your reservation. Verbal cancellations will not be accepted.
